Ysleta Middle School

On Tuesday, September 9, Ysleta Middle School hosted a special Grandparent’s Day 🎉 Celebration! Our YMS Orchestra students, under the direction of Mrs. Escarciga, played beautiful music 🎶 for the first half of our program.  Our Principal, Mr. Perez, welcomed our families and set the tone.  Grandparents were treated to a special breakfast prepared by our cafeteria staff with love 🥰. Mrs. Hernandez introduced our theme, A Historical Walk Down Memory Lane. We discussed the heartwarming relationship grandparents provide in the life of the student and we created a giant timeline with special events! Our morning was capped off by a truly inspirational performance from our Jazz 🎼 Band, led by Mr. Mireles. It was special morning all around! Thank you to all who organized this event and a huge shout out to all those who were able to attend!
