Ysleta Middle is proud to announce 📣 the selection of our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Escarciga! She is our orchestra teacher and does a fantastic job preparing our students for their competitions and performances. She works tirelessly to make sure they understand how to play the music and how to properly hold their instruments. She works with different groups before and after school in addition to all the work she does during the day. We are so proud to have her represent us at Ysleta Middle School.
Our Fine Arts programs prepared a special event as fifth grade students from our elementary feeder pattern schools came to visit the middle school campus. They got to experience a taste of what they can choose as electives when they enter middle school. Our choir, who's received special honors as several students qualified for all region choir, prepared a special song to perform.

The counselors at Ysleta MS organized a fun and information packed Career Fair for our Middle School Students. With booths from local, independent organizations to career path development to educational opportunities there was something for everyone to check out! We even had Chik Fil A, the EP Fire 🔥 Department and Border Patrol. Students had a great day of learning!
